1. Overview

At CrazyKooky Candles LLC, we take pride in carefully hand-crafting and packing each order. This Shipping Policy explains how your order is processed, shipped, and delivered in compliance with Kansas and U.S. consumer regulations.

2. Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days of receipt, and we aim to fulfill most orders within 24 hours. Orders placed after 3 PM or on weekends/holidays will begin processing the next business day. During high-volume seasons (such as fall or holidays), processing may extend to 3–7 business days.

3. Shipping Carriers

All U.S. orders are shipped via USPS and UPS. You’ll receive an email with a tracking number once your order ships. Please check your spam or promotions folder if you do not see your confirmation.

4. Standard Shipping Rates

  • USPS Priority Mail (Estimated Delivery: 3–5 business days) — $6.95 USD
  • UPS Ground (Estimated Delivery: 2–3 business days) — $8.55 USD

5. Free Shipping

Enjoy FREE USPS Priority Mail shipping (3–5 business days) on orders of $40 or more within the United States.

6. Sample Wax Melts

  • Orders of 1–9 (1-oz) wax melts: $5.00 via USPS Ground
  • Orders of 10 or more wax melts: FREE shipping

7. Holiday Shipping Rates

During holidays or peak seasons, USPS and UPS may increase rates due to carrier surcharges. We do our best to keep your costs low and offer seasonal shipping discounts whenever possible.

8. Domestic Shipping

We ship throughout the United States from our studio in Coffeyville, Kansas. Estimated delivery times after shipment:

  • Standard (USPS): 3–5 business days
  • Priority (UPS): 2–3 business days

9. Local Delivery Service

We proudly offer local delivery within a 22-mile radius of zip code 67337 with a minimum purchase of $19.95. Select “Local Delivery” at checkout to use this service.

  • Most deliveries arrive within 24 hours — and often same day!
  • You’ll receive notifications when your order is Out for Delivery and once it has been Delivered.
  • Packages are left safely on your porch or in your mailbox (if accessible).

  • Pickup available during posted business hours.
  • We’ll email you when your order is ready for pickup.
  • Please pick up within 14 days; after 30 days, items may be restocked without refund.

11. International Shipping

We currently offer limited international shipping. Rates start at $10.95 USD and may vary based on destination, package weight, and current carrier pricing. Please note that international customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes applied by their country.

12. Tracking & Delivery

All orders include tracking information via email once shipped. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking updates to appear. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed by carriers.

If your tracking shows “Delivered” but you haven’t received your package, check with neighbors or your local post office/UPS branch. We will assist with carrier investigations but cannot guarantee replacement of packages confirmed as delivered.

13. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages

  • Report lost or delayed shipments within 10 business days of expected delivery.
  • For damaged orders, email photos within 7 days of delivery so we can help with a replacement or refund.
  • We are not responsible for incorrect shipping addresses entered at checkout, though we’ll help when possible.

14. Warm Weather Advisory

Our products are handmade with natural waxes that can soften in heat. During warm months, please retrieve packages promptly. We are not liable for melting or damage caused by heat exposure after delivery.

15. Preorders & Custom Orders

Preordered and custom products will ship as soon as they are completed. Estimated shipping dates are displayed on the product page or communicated via email. Any supply-related delays will be communicated immediately.

16. Holiday & Seasonal Delays

During busy times such as holidays, launches, or local events, please allow an additional 3–5 business days for order fulfillment and transit. We appreciate your patience during these exciting seasons!

17. Kansas Consumer Compliance

CrazyKooky Candles LLC complies with the Kansas Consumer Protection Act (K.S.A. 50-623 et seq.) and federal postal regulations. Once an order leaves our facility, the carrier assumes responsibility for delivery. However, we maintain all shipment records and will assist customers in carrier claims when necessary.

All order and shipping records are retained for a minimum of three years per Kansas small-business record-keeping requirements.
